Gumbo is back! This week, order a jar of one of our top sellers. The toasted flour in the dark roux gives this stew a deep and complex flavour, and it’s packed with chunks of veggies and sausage. We’ve added fish sauce to give it some umami. And of course, it wouldn’t be a proper gumbo without some spice. You can eat this soup hot on its own or, for a more complete meal, ladle some over rice and top with fresh herbs.
Our other offering this week is almost the complete opposite of Gumbo. Miso is also making a return! This vegan soup is a minimalist’s dream. It’s a classic, Japanese soup that is simple and light, yet savoury. Our version is packed with healthy green chard and tofu. We recommend heating it up and eat on its own.
